Memory Offload
I am bad at recalling specific items from large sets. For instance, in high school we had Spanish vocabulary tests were we had to fill in blanks to complete sentences. The words that could fill the blanks were from a set of ten assigned in advance. I knew all ten words, I could just never remember what the ten words were.

I owned two Sony Clie palm pilot devices.
TJ37: Built in wifi, speaker, headphone jack. Broken screen.
TJ27: No wifi, or audio. Entirely functional.
Now, a palm with no audio and no wifi isn’t very useful to me, especially since it is replaced with my HTC Mogul phone.

AJAX for Awesome
Browsing Facebook photo albums appears to have been AJAXified to make the whole experience faster. I think it precaches upcoming images too, so the whole thing takes a lot less time. Sweet.
This is my “final project” for my Video Production class at Wellesley this semester.
The way software could work
I just downloaded and installed Steam, through Steam downloaded and installed Portal, beat Portal, and uninstalled it. The 5+ gigs it takes up were only occupied on my drive for the time I was playing it. That’s pretty awesome.
